It is so strange hearing someone who is fluent in Mandarin speak in English about Chinese people. Because Chinese uses tone to distinguish words, and not just for intonation, he uses the Chinese tones when pronouncing names. It ends up sounding like he’s asking a question in the middle of the sentence, or that the sentence ended early.

faucet: Also, taxis here are super expensive.  Had to take one home, cause I didn’t want to wait a long time for the night bus, plus I would have had to walk a bit just to find it. They charge for miles and time.  I don’t remember other cities doing that.  Next time I’m waiting for the damn bus! New York does that!

Protip
If you want album art to display in audio you upload to Tumblr, don’t drag the file from iTunes to your desktop. For some reason, this creates a version of the file sans album art. Instead, right-click on the song, hit “Show in Finder,” and then upload that file. (This took me like 3 days to figure out.)
